Hiring Manager . Looking for strong Unix, and scripting. Equity Background. The primary responsibilities associated with the role include providing support for Global Rates Production Services group - specifically in high frequency trading related applications: 
Ensuring high availability of required applications 
Troubleshooting problems with data feeds between applications and/or market data sources as well as other areas in the application stack 
Verifying data integrity and consistency between systems 
Prioritizing and driving proactive change within the development community to reduce support requirements and increase application stability 
Act as an independent auditor and approver of all changes in the high frequency area, ensuring that changes are complete, appropriate and of minimal risk 
Ensuring applications comply with all audit and regulatory requirements 
Liaise with various internal teams to solve critical, time sensitive issues including infrastructure, networks, Unix and Database support 
The provision of the above will be coupled with the following:

Rapid response to critical business issues 
Working with demanding traders to facilitate their business goals 
Prompt escalation of issues to appropriate teams when necessity demands 
Good communication between team members and development teams 
Regular knowledge sharing through documentation and training sessions 
Work in a high profile, high pressure environment
